SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The Company Loomis is now recruiting a Development Manager for SecurCash development teams into Solutions Development department (in Europe) and this is a great opportunity to move on to a new position within Loomis.

Job Summary:

The Manager is responsible:

• for the overarching architectural technical strategy
and development roadmap concerning the products within the AoR
• to establish and maintain services around the
provided platforms/Infrastructure
• for assuring resources and competence to deliver
services for implementation and development projects
• for assuring resources and competence to deliver
support and maintenance services according to established service level
agreements toward the business
• Overall responsible for the life cycle management strategy for the provided
products

Responsibility:

• Overall responsible and accountable for the strategies and services
provided by the AoR
• Ensure that the relationship between the AoR and relevant counterparts
are working properly
• Manage and lead the AoR personnel and consultants and secure
committed resource availability
• Plan, manage and control the budget for the AoR
solutions/infrastructure/services
• Ensure that business receives cost-effective and timely solutions,
speedy resolution of problems and a proactive business partner
anticipating future issues and solutions
• Manage contracts, licenses and other assets belonging to the AoR
• Responsible for negotiating non-commercial content in contracts with
suppliers
• Establish, manage and update service agreements with the service
providers in corporation with sourcing and legal support functions
• Act as escalation point
• Ensure that projects are carried out according to plan and that processes
are effective and appropriate implemented
• Review and report the development services delivered and ensure that
business required reporting needs are met
• Responsible for KPI fulfillment for the AoR function. Monitor KPIs and
define corrective actions if needed
• Report on status, initiatives, tasks and projects to relevant stakeholders
• Follow up and monitor solution performance and quality
• Identify and implement adequate and potential improvements
